Heading east on route 9 we stopped off at the Hogback Mountain General Store which opened in 1936 so that Sue could get a few souvenirs and finally we stopped off for dinner and the restaurant had an interesting old advertising sign on the wall.

Nice trip. It is nice to get out and explore sometimes. I like the old General stores. we have a couple old ones around here snd I have been to others. I love it when you go in and the old wooden floors creak.
thanks for sharing your trip. I have never been in the state of Vermont.

Vermont is a beautiful state, too bad its politics are insane. We go there two to three times a year and always in the Fall to see the foliage.

Well, that's Sue got your Christmas present nice and early this year.
I hope you got hers, fingers crossed.
At least you'll both have plenty of time to wrap them.

Though we've both done some early Christmas shopping, we didn't do any of it on our trip to Vermont.
